As much as you like a good old glass of whiskey made in your own favorite, quintessential way, you will always want to or being told to try out new kinds of recipes with your drink. This is not really that bad of an idea – you get to taste a few different drinks and you also get to discover your tastes and preferences completely and get to choose a new favorite drink on your own. So just to make that easier for you, we have curated a few recipes using different Johnnie Walker whiskies which are relatively quite simple and can be easily made at home 

(I) Spirit forward drink for someone who loves bitter sweet cocktails.

Negroni(Classic)

Glass: Rocks/ Whisky

Ingredients

  • 30ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
  • 30ml Campari
  • 30ml Sweet Vermouth
  • Orange peel

Method

  1. Take a glass filled with cube ice.
  2. Pour all the ingredients accept orange
  3. Stir to mix, chill and dilute
  4. Garnish: Spray Orange oils using orange peel on the drink and drop the peel on the drink

Difficult to change this classic “Negroni” at home you could only change is garnish. So, Recipe will be same as classic. You can garnish it with spices or herbs like cinnamon, star anise or rosemary.

Old Fashioned
Glass: Rocks/ Whisky

Ingredients

  • 60ml Bourbon Whiskey
  • 1noz Sugar Cube 3 drops Cocktail bitters
  • Orange peel

Method

  1. Take a glass and add Orange peel.
  2. Take a sugar cube and add 3 drops of cocktail bitters
  3. Take a muddle and crush sugar cube over orange peel without break it
  4. Pour 60ml Bourbon Whiskey and add ice cubes.
  5. Stir to mix, chill and dilute
  6. Add more ice cubes to fill the glass
  7. Garnish: Spray Orange oils using orange peel on the drink and drop the peel on the drink

Marmalade Old Fashioned Glass: Whisky glass

Ingredients

  •  60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
  • 1 1/2 tsp Bitter Orange Marmalade
  • Orange peel

Method

  1. Take a glass and add Orange 1 1/2 bar spoon of Orange Marmalade.
  2. Pour 60ml Johnnie Walker Black Label. bitters
  3. Mix Marmalade & Whisky with spoon
  4. Add ice cubes
  5. Stir to mix, chill and dilute
  6. Add more ice cubes to fill the glass
  7. Garnish: Spray Orange oils using orange peel on the drink and drop the peel on the drink

Margarita
Glass: Rocks/ Coupe

Ingredients

  • 45ml Tequila
  • 15ml Cointreau
  • 15ml   Fresh Lime juice
  • Salt and lime slice

Method

  1. Take a glass and Lime slice
  2. Run lime slice on the rim of the glass to make it wet
  3. Dip the wet rim in free flow salt so that it sticks to the rim and keep it on side to use later
  4. Take a cocktail shaker and add all the ingredients
  5. Add Ice and shake hard
  6. Strain it in the Salt rim glass and add ice if the glass is rocks or whisky
  7. Garnish: Lime slice on the rim

Organic Margarita
Glass: Rocks/ Coupe

Ingredients

  • 15ml Fresh Lime juice
  • Salt and lime slice

Method
