Interesting drinks you make with your favorite Johnnie Walker

As much as you like a good old glass of whiskey made in your own favorite, quintessential way, you will always want to or being told to try out new kinds of recipes with your drink. This is not really that bad of an idea – you get to taste a few different drinks and you also get to discover your tastes and preferences completely and get to choose a new favorite drink on your own. So just to make that easier for you, we have curated a few recipes using different Johnnie Walker whiskies which are relatively quite simple and can be easily made at home 

(I) If you are a big fan of everything orange, then this marmalade infused recipe is just the thing for you - take a look!

Marmalade Old Fashioned

Ingredients

  • Johnnie Walker Black Label
  • Bitter orange marmalade
  • Nutmeg & cinnamon. 

Method

  1. Take a whisky glass and add 2 spoons of bitter orange marmalade.
  2. Add 50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label.
  3. Grate nutmeg and cinnamon.
  4. Add a couple of ice cubes.
  5. Stir to mix and dilute. Stir till you see dilution and glass fills ¾.
  6. Fill the glass with ice
  7. Add cinnamon sticks as garnish.

(II) This is a relatively simply simple recipe with all the classic ingredients that goes into a good drink

Highball

Ingredients

  • Johnnie Walker Black Label or cognac
  • Soda & lemon or orange wedge (don’t use lime)

Method

  1. Take a Highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Add 50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label or Cognac.
  3. Top with 150ml chilled soda.
  4. Gentle Stir.
  5. Lemon or orange wedge (don’t use lime)

(III) You should get your tonic water out for this delicious concoction that is easy to make and takes no time to learn

Ton Scotch

Ingredients

  •  Johnnie Walker Black Label
  • Tonic water 
  • Lime wedge

Method

  1. Take a Highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Add 50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label.
  3. Top with 150ml chilled tonic water.
  4. Squeeze lime juice from a wedge of lime and drop in the glass.
  5. Gentle Stir.

Johnnie & Ginger Ale

Ingredients

  • Johnnie Walker Red Label
  • Ginger ale
  • Lime juice wedge
  • Star Anise.

Method

  1. Take a Highball glass filled with ice cubes.
  2. Add 50ml Johnnie Walker Red Label.
  3. Top with 150ml chilled Ginger Ale.
  4. Squeeze lime juice from a wedge of lime.
  5. Gentle Stir.
